1 Year!

(Sorry in advance for the super long post)
Steve and I were married last April but our one year anniversary fell on the day we were moving.
I was a little bummed but we decided to get organized andcelebrate as soon as we could. Finally,
a few weeks ago, we got to celebrate at a Bed and Breakfast in Lake Chelan! It was exactly
what we needed to relax andde-stress before school starts. Plus, Fall seemed nowhere in sight
when we got there. 

That night we went to dinner at a restaurant down town.

It was Italian, which is one of my favorites, so we stuffed ourselves.

Plus I got to stare at this face all night:

Then Steve surprised me with a little dessert in the park! How cute.

The next morning we had an amazing breakfast. The inn was owned by an older couple
who loved to have visitors. Let's just say it was very quaint :)

That day we perused the shops, then packed a lunch and camped out on the beach.

We ate, napped, swam, read, and basked in the sunshine...my kind of day.

Disclaimer: since our Honeymoon in Hawaii, Steve fell in love with snorkeling and
really anything under water. So, I decided to get him his own set so whenever we go back
he can feel cool and bring his own. He was so excited with his gift he had to try it out right
away - in a lake. Despite my hesitation he was in the water the second it was out of the bag. 
There were many weird looks but it didn't phase him. And that's one reason I love him.

for opening my door even when I get to it first
for singing songs about nothing to make me laugh
for staying calm when I don't
for winking at me when we're in big groups
for making me feel pretty
and for loving me everyday no matter what.

I can't wait to see what the future holds for us.
