This weekend Steve and I were both recovering from a long week of being sick and
overly busy. So we were glad to have a weekend full of General Conference.
Most conference weekends we travel to Utah to see family but this time we decided to
lay low and regain some energy.

This morning we made cinnamon rolls to eat while we watch (an old family tradition,
I'm sure many of you have).

I wish I could say they were homemade, but these definitely were not. That'll be my goal
for next year once school is out of the way.

On another note: I really enjoyed listening to conference this year. Steve and I have
a lot of big decisions and major changes coming up and most of the time it scares me.
So it's nice to be reminded that we're not doing this alone and life is so good.
I know how you feel! SO many big changes and choices going on in this season of life. Conference brought so much peace for, and made me feel excited for what ever is coming our way.

ps-I have a really good/easy cinnamon roll recipe that takes less than 90 start to consumption time...let me know if you want it!
we had cinnamon rolls and hot chocolate which is something we started when we were dating and we went to visit Grandma and Grandpa Church and that's what she made us! such an excellent tradition.
