Well, it's official. After a lot of back and forth, Steve finally found the job he's been looking for.
We're so happy to have a little direction, especially when he's excited and it feels right. I'm so proud
of Steve for sticking with it. It's been a roller coaster of traveling, interviewing, waiting and more
waiting. Most days we were excited and hopeful but there were days we would just look at each
other and say, "ok, what do we do now?" A few tears (on my end), prayer, and family kept us from
going insane. It's funny how easy it is to be patient until what you're waiting for takes too long ;)

We both knew things would eventually work out and it would be 'for the best' but that quickly
began to lose it's luster when we had been saying it over and over. Being patient is so hard and so
important. Life usually doesn't go the way we plan and we've been learning that now more than ever. It's
been one of the hardest but best times since we've been married. So with that being said, Steve's new
job will be taking us to Hillsboro, Oregon!
Just 20 minutes out of Portland and a hour from the coast. We're thrilled! Close to the
city but not too close; just the way we like it. We're so excited to get out there and make a
new city our home.
