Last week we sent off a missionary; my little brother. Since families can't go in anymore, we said
goodbye at the airport. It was really hard to see him go but I was so grateful I could spend the
week with him before he left.

He was so ready and excited to finally be a missionary. I'm so proud of the person he's become
and the example he is to our whole family. However, despite the happy thoughts, the tears still came.
It'll be different going through two years of life without my best friend. Thank goodness for email.
The other half of our family picked him up and had round two of goodbyes.

I'm so glad you started a blog! :) And goodness, I love it shoon! The layout is awesome! I'd love to know how you got such a wide layout...makes for bigger pictures :) And the pics of you and Steve from your wedding are stunning...thinking about that day makes me happy!
ReplyDeleteAnd about Bryce, he's going to be a phenomenal missionary! He is such a great kid...well, more like man i guess ;) The people he serves & serves with are lucky. Bryce is going to be the answer to so many prayers. And the next 2 years will fly by...
