A year ago today my niece Lily was born.
At 20 weeks prior to birth she was diagnosed with a condition called Alobar Holoprosencephaly.
This means her brain would not fully develop. My brother Craig and sister-in-law Meredith were
told she would not live long and possibly wouldn't make it through birth.

Despite the news, she was born June 13th. Her life wasn't long but it had a huge impact on all of us.
Steve and I were far away at the time and therefore, were never able to meet her. But I was so amazed
to see the many blessings Lily brought to our whole family. She taught us all a lesson of courage and trusting in the Lord. Her sweet spirit will now be a part of our family forever.
We love you Lily.
