Since we moved back to Washington for the summer we've been wanting to get away
and enjoy the outdoors, but so far we've had lots of rain. So when we heard Steve had
two days off work for the holiday weekend we decided, rain or shine, we needed to
get our outdoor fix.
two days off work for the holiday weekend we decided, rain or shine, we needed to
get our outdoor fix.
Steve's parents planned a little beach trip for the weekend so we headed up early and spent
the first day hiking the coast. We caught the tail end of a rainstorm but it let up enough
so we could hike without getting soaked. It was wet but still beautiful.

The next day we walked the strip, ate lots of seafood, and watched all the pre-4th of
July hoop-la. Oh yeah- and played some putt-putt golf. Steve sunk two holes in one!
I was proud.
The 4th of July has always been one of my favorite holidays. I love everything about it.
To watch the fireworks we found a little beach down the road that let us drive our
truck to the water. It was a little chilly but definitely worth it.
Happy 4th of July everyone! I hope you enjoyed every bit of it.
