sunshine and baseball

Last weekend my sister came to visit! She brought her two roommates along, who had
never been to Washington, so we spent our time seeing the sites and playing in the sun.

Saturday we decided to spend the afternoon in Seattle. We tried to get Mariner tickets a
few days earlier but they were sold out. The Yankees were in town. We were bummed but
figured we'd find other activities.

The day came and we decided to try our luck and look for scalpers who might be desperate
to sell tickets. It was a long a shot but we found a winner! After sweet talking him into way less
than he wanted, we got great center field seats and enjoyed watching our boys in the sun.

Not only was it the perfect night for a game but in the 8th inning we got to witness a
Mariner GRAND SLAM to beat the Yankees! It was amazing. Who doesn't love to see
the Yankees lose? Thanks for your tickets scalper man.
